GTFO. I don't do phone contracts![]()
Sim free is the only way to buy in my opinion. You end up paying so much more over a 24 month contract.

Oh it's definitely the smart option mate but not everyone can afford to do so.
Is it really?
I've just done a quick comparison on CPW and genuinely picked the first 'same deal' I saw (so may have just lucked out and picked an example that suits this example) and....
HTC One M9 on EE, 5GB per month and unlimited texts and calls
On Contract (24 month contract)
Up Front Cost: £59.99
Monthly Cost: £41.99
Total (24 months) = £1,068

Sim Free phone and Sim Only contract (12 month contract)
Up Front Cost: £579.99
Monthly Cost: £27.99
Total (24 months) = £1,252

Unless, I've messed up somewhere that is a £200 premium for going the sim-free route
Common sense would dictate that contracts should be cheaper. You are guaranteeing the network 2 year's worth of business which is surely worth a discount over those who are free to change their providers willy-nilly? Hence why contract deals work out cheaper per month that PAYG for the same usage.
They asked me to confirm the address and I have received no response.
