I think its faster than GTX260 in SLI

plus its more efficient singly so yeah..I mean the HD4870X2 is *just faster* need alone the GTX295, its not bad for a single card in fact its quite good, I can't help but think there is a lot more frame rates to be released out of the card through.

what board are you running them on? Im going to be running mine on a fully watercooled motherboard- i hope they will fit between the nb/sb blocks :S

5850 is the bargain, forget the vastly overpriced 5870, 5850 will be the hot sellers, the 5870 needs to drop by £30 to rival it imo.

Enjoy the ovepriced card you just bought, i'll hold out a week or two for 5850

Biostar Tpower x58 SLi/XFire board

3x PCI Express 2.0 lanes

2x @ 16 and 1x at 4x

but all pci express 2.0.

Can you imagine 4 of them on a board supporing the hydra chip + 4x PCI-e x16? if that ever emerges.

Why would anyone buy a 5870 for £300 when you can have 2x 260GTX in SLI for slightly under £200? assuming you have an nForce, X58 or X55 board.

Although competition is really fierce now & in the past, I like to think they've turned a corner & given respect to ATi.
