The I'm getting bored of BF3 thread

I bought it on release, played for maybe 20 hours.
I played the campaign. It was bad, but it was some nice looking mindless shooting and that is pretty ok. I quite enjoyed it.
I played the multiplayer for a bit. After countless hours trying to get it to run, followed by getting it to run correctly, followed by still-not-having-it-run-that-well made me pretty sick of it.
I tried playing it the other day but after about 30 minutes of running to an objective, getting sniped, staring at the arrogant little face of those damn snipers for 10 seconds, getting sniped again, getting hit by someone I couldn't see... I don't think it's really my game.

I'm bored of it but partly through my own fault since I have no mic or mates to squad up with. Playing lone wolf in conquest is extremely boring and frustrating.

Two hours is no decent time to get the feel of a game. It took me 20 hours to like BC2 after BF2. Maxed the ranks of both of them in the end.
It is worth giving it some time as to me, it now feels 'more right' than BC2. I had a game of BF2 last week and totally hated it. This is after me racking up nearly 2000 hours back in the day!
Come join me for a game then! Mic is not a must, just good squad play.

I've played BF3 for just over 16 hours according to battlelog but I really just can't get into it.
It's not that it is a terrible game and I've definitely had some rounds that are awesome (I have plenty of friends to play with) but it just doesn't grab me in the same way as BC2 did. The frustration in the bad games is also so bad that it outweighs the enjoyment of the good games.
Im not bored of it, more frustrated with it tbh. When it plays right it can be great fun, but it's still quite buggy. Im normally a very calm person when gaming, but sometimes bf3 has me seething due to some of the issues with it. Pre btk it was near flawless, but since the release of that, it's got a bit iffy for me.
I couldn't get into it either..
Battlelog certainly did not help with this and I had a lot of trouble getting into games.. but when I did, what I found did not motivate me.
I have about 600 hrs in BC2 and wanted to like this so much..But I am only rank 7 in BF3 and haven't played it since a week or so after release.. BC2 and BF2 were far more compelling games, I think they just over complicated it and lost the fun factor.

Vehiclar ownage annoys me most. The perks like proximity scan etc combined with supetfast repairs give people opportunity to rack up big score lines rendering footslogginv nearly useless - especially in hc.

If you never played BF2 then you have missed out big time. Definitely best in the series.
BC2 comes in at a good second place IMO.
hi guys agree with you all in some way or another i do think its better when your playing with people you know so please guys add me on bf3 fatmark1978. and bf2 HAYNEZY im always looking for a good game but its rare on bf3. i hope they introduce some bfbc2 maps on the next one
I was in a sponsored wow guild when bf2 was out which i got paid for so all my gaming time went into that Im afraid

What guild was it? I have a friend that's been in Ensidia for about a year and he doesn't get any money. How does that work exactly?

i'm sick to death of running around a corner and dying, drives me mad that they can't get something like that right...
rocket spam can be a tad annoying, and sniper whores.
all in all, i'm still enjoying it for the most part, but i just play it once or twice a week now, not everyday like when it came out.
What guild was it? I have a friend that's been in Ensidia for about a year and he doesn't get any money. How does that work exactly?
Incorporated now called Envy think the are still top 10-20 guild when the money stopped i left and joined pacifism! Then quit for good after lich king died!
People won't get paid to play wow anymore its to casual and way to easy! Ensidia are nowhere near the guild they used to be to be honest a few pacifism players joined them when pacifism folded and they weren't exactly great players!
