** The iOS10 thread **

I sent one of the fancy new written messages to someone on iOS9 and someone with a Galaxy S6 and they both received them as a picture message.
 
Oh dear, that's not good, so it sends it as an MMS?

That's the main reason I rarely use the iOS chap Chat app and iMessage to send pictures to friends any more and instead use What'sApp.

If they're offline or not using an iPhone at all it sends pictures as picture messages which I get charged for.
 
I can send pictures to friends no bother with iMessage (20p per MMS for me and rarely do I find one showing up, and usually because I've sent it to an Androider), but unfortunately I don't have anyone to check with the new iOS10 features as they're all technologically challenged. :p
 
Just updated my 6s+ to iOS 10 and the only problem I've found is with the sky sports app. It doesn't want to scroll down the articles because of the ads at the top of the page, anyone having the same issue?
 
There are a dew apps I have found that have some minor glitches.
Given the official launch is still not here yet I would guess there may be a lot of updated apps coming this week.

By the way, if the GM was installed using 'a profile' obtained, can that then be removed and leave the device on a normal release schedule for future updates etc?
 
Few apps have told me that I need to "update" to the latest version, but they've now been updated and work on iOS 10.

Apart from notifications, camera roll and iMessage, not really finding it much different on an iPhone 6 :confused:

Oh great! Given Sky's usual expediency with app updates, that'll be fixed sometime around Christmas! :(
