I love this show as I too am on an IT helpdesk :)

The bit with Richmond at the funeral dressed as a goth and the reaction of the boss was hilarious. My favourite clip.

Whos watching this?.

It was the worst, most cringeworthy programme I have ever seen. I persevered, I really did. Two episodes was the limit I could stand.

I was quite disappointed when I watched it when it first was on tv, but I've been watching the repeats lately, and there's so many funny bits that I never remembered seeing. The acting is very good, although the script isn't quite as sharp as from Black Books or Father Ted. I really really like it now

It has plenty of great moments but things could be improved immeasurably if they got rid of that sodding laughter track.

If the script makes me laugh it makes me laugh - I don't need pointers in that respect.

Apparently some/most parts are recorded in front of a live studio audience, so yeah, I don't know why they need to use the laughter track. And if shows do need to use laughter tracks, can't they make them even a bit more convincing? It's so obvious :\

sure it was a laughter track as noel tells the audience to not laugh at one point. Maybe its a mix of both.

Not everything can work like the office, I think some programmes would be ruined without a laughter track like friends etc. Doesn't mean the show is bad if you don't laugh at everything the track does.

Friends is all live audience laughter iirc
