Or you could watch it on 4OD. Thought it was a really funny episode, with roy in the wheelchair and moss behind the bar at the end.

How you could suggest that program has Father Ted levels of anything is beyond me.
Father Ted's humour basically revolved around Ted/Dougal doing/saying the wrong thing. Be it to the Chinese/Victor Meldrew/whatever...
Last friday's episode of The IT Crowd had a high quotient of the same and it was of a high standard.

Apparently the subtitles on the dvd for Season 1 are written in 1337

Except the characters and actors in The IT Crowd are rubbish compared to those Father Ted and it just comes off as childish and irritating.

Finally got to see it, far better than any of the episodes from season 1. Did anyone notice the general lack of anything IT related? was still class though
I don't think so! Father Ted's characters are just as shallow and predictable as The IT Crowd's. Father Ted actually got pretty boring towards the end. Some of the later episodes are total dross

Episode one is in leet; lots of net references, OMGPONIES! et cetera...Hell, even some MC Frontalot lyrics are in there.
Then there are various geeky translations in episodes 2-5 (hex, octal et cetera).
And episode six is a direct-leet translation.
