Just finished the roguelike Vampire Survivors - well, got all the trophies. Wasn't sure I'd like it but it more or less instantly reeled me into the gameplay loop, in a way that Hades didn't (though I did enjoy that).
Made by a British guy who is apparently worth £40m+ off the back of it
Perfect example of a simple idea done well and ending up more enjoyable than many AAA games.

It’s really not as bad as people make out. The original one was also short which many people seem to forget when comparing the two

Death Stranding 2. Its a good game, looks spectacular (Although the opening lulls you into a false sense of wow with the graphics that i didn't think look as realistic later in the game) pretty bonkers, quite a bit more than the original. Some of the plot points were a bit ham fisted and obvious from early on but nonetheless an enjoyable return to the story. It has the usual Kojima tropes and silliness along with the convoluted plot points/areas.
I was pretty disappointed that building and upgrading the complete road network didn't get a trophy but that's my gripe.. lol

I went back and replayed the original RE3 recently (and Dino Crisis
), we really didn't miss out on much with the remake.All I can think of, is a section in a newspaper building with some fiery stairs, and the worm boss fight - RE3 original still holds up well, but is just as short; I think people are just being over critical when they give the remake a poor review - I personally loved it, and I'm thankful that we got it at all.

Just wow, story was brilliant, music brilliant, combat fun and challenging.
The story though and a certain choice was so difficult. Ending was emotional for me.
First game in decades where I want to have the sound track on disc too! So fitting through out

Avowed, 7/10
No Endgame, some weapons far too powerful early on, and the RPG elements could use some tinkering, as it just felt a bit easy in the late game once certain things were enabled, but a fun game nonetheless. Good graphics, nice story etc just a shame there is no replayability

Just finished - The Expanse A Teltale Series
6/10 - I'd say it was playable with some good parts but overall average.
I really enjoyed the TV series and the novels but thought this game was a little poor as it only featured one (Camila Drummer) of the characters I was familiar with.
Overall, I'd say that if you enjoyed the Expanse series it's worth playing.
