Destiny 2 The Witch Queen. Brilliant actually. One of the best I’ve played. Going to continue with the other stuff I’ve missed. Lightfall next.

Last time I played Destiny 2 was around launch never finished its expansions as it lost it for me, much preferred Destiny 1

I keep looking at though with temptation but so much content and some content is cut but nice to see it’s being enjoyed!

Lightfall is awful anyway. But Destiny 2 well worth playing still for the 3 expansions before it. I will blast through this as fast as I can the do the final shape which is meant to be better.

Well I eat my words.

Cyberpunk 2077 / Phantom Liberty - 10/10

I avoided it all this time because it was never my type of game from that very first trailer years ago. Even after release I was never enthused about it. Phantom Liberty's release praise made me curious so I recently purchased the games on the cheap.

Cyberbunk took a good amount of time to get 'into' before I started seeing the positives as I was seeing animation bugs etc some 5mins in (that never stopped tbh) and I slowly started admiring a lot of the game elements and features. Got to the final mission in Cyberpunk before kicking off Phantom Liberty where I enjoyed the game even moreso.

Long story short, that was one hell of a ride after 145hrs and I am gutted there is no NG+ really. Maybe I'll restart at some point as I Panam is too angry and keeps beating me up all the time. I really liked Judy...

Metal Gear Solid Delta - 7/10.

I'd totally forgotten from the first time around, but it's surprising just how little game there actually is here. I know Kojima is famed for having a lot of cut scenes but it's very apparent in this one. It seems like you spend about ten minutes going through a tiny little map and then it's a flurry of cut scenes and boss fights before you repeat the process again.

I actually found some of the gameplay to be quite annoying too. Especially looking at it through the modern lens. I feel like this game could have benefited massively from a proper remake, something along the lines of the Resi 2 remake.

the last berserker khazan. Took me awhile to get into, once the unlocks and things came it was much better.

Def in that souls like area but more wukong style. I couldnt get into the story much but 7.5/10

Gears of war reloaded. 6/10

Looks great, I got stuck on the bit at the theatre so had to youtube what to do and only then did I notice the huge graphical improvements. Thats about all that has improved though. It was great at the time but you forget how much cover shooters have got better in the 20 years or so since it came out. Cover system is clunky, running is terrible, AI is absolutely clueless, squad commands don't work, kept getting stuck inside walls and suiciding by grenade, sound needs beefed up and found it all a bit easy tbh. First time round I was stuck on the end boss for what seemed like days. This time I hit him half a dozen times with the torque bow and it was game over on my first attempt.
Reload mechanic is still super satisfying and the Cole train song during credits is class. Played on Gamepass, would feel a bit let down if I'd paid for it. Presumably it's not full price.

Silent Hill F.

6/10.
Had big hopes for this game. Maybe too big? quite short IMO, took me around 8.5 hours of casual play over Friday/saturday. This was a very "slow run" i tried to explore every bit of the map, and always went the oposite way i thought i should incase i missed something in that direction. Same old enemies over and over again, i think like 4? Did not find it scary. I was expecting some messed up scenes, but was pretty damn tame IMO.

I did find the music and sound quite good at times, making it feel quite tense.

Started new game + and about an hour in, much harder on Hard vs story dificulty, might end up watching the other endings on you tube, not sure i am bothered about another complete play through of hitting the same enemies with a pipe over and over again.

There was a section of having to turn levers to open different doors, i cannot imagine having to go through that again, nearly turned the game off at that point. In fact i think i did and went and got some food, how they thought this would be fun is beyond me.
