I cannot wait for this, knew it had to come to PC but not this soon lol. I have forgotten a lot of the first game bso am welcoming the remake with the new stuff and being able to play it on PC hardware now in ultra wide. The TV show is set to premier in 2023, so if the remake builds up hype as the TV show and game stories are said to align, this could prove good for the TV series too I guess.

Considering that next gen console hardware is what these remakes are aimed at initially, it's par for the course that they run great (so far) on PC hardware too given recent releases so I'm all for it and confident. Plus it's Naughty Dog so it can't go wrong :p

I'll give it a reinstall and continue where I left off then! Cloud saves are the best thing ever for modern day gaming. Just reinstall and everything is as I left it

CDPR have gone through internal struggles though which explains a lot. Naughty Dog seem to go from strength to strength. They're the Valve of games seemingly.

It's based on the embedded tweet by The Snitch, who has a proven track record of accurate leaks and is followed by various names in the industry too. The tweet shows a console pad and a computer. that can only mean one thing.

I mentioned it elsewhere but I bought a PS3 bundle just for the original game back in the day, then sold it once I finished :p Good times! Now I can relive those moments in higher quality graphics in ultrawide.

Looking forward to it then!
Already have the TLoU remake on PlayStation 4 but would buy it on PC in the hopes it has mod support.
You do not have the remake on ps4. You have the remaster. The remake is a ground up rebuild with the mechanics of part 2 and even better graphics. It is PS5 and PC only.

This game or in general? Other games might be ports but they are very good ones with PC only features and graphics. Last of us Remake is not a port on the PC, it's being made side by side for the PC and PS5.

The remake is a remake, not a remaster. They've remade the game from the, and I quote, "ground up". It is not just a reskin. If you know otherwise, I would suggest you post a source in this thread.

That's the PS5 price. I cannot see the PC price being that much (unless buying from STEAM direct). Kinguin etc will have it cheaper no doubt.

I only bought a PS3 just for this, then the sequal. So to replay it on PC in ultra-wide with hopefully HDR and raytracing, that will be a thing of beauty in a game with cinematics like this.
