The Last Of Us

Listen mode in MP is just plain stupid, everyone is moving around constantly crouched. Why oh why do MP shooters have to have some kind of radar, sensor, xray type person detector, it's just so unnecessary.
 
Playing on hard without listening mode and from what I've done so far it feels easier than when I played on normal difficulty on PS3. I guess that's experience coming through :p
 
Really wish i played this before getting rid of the PS3. If it wasn't for Forza Horizon i think i would sell the XBO to get a PS4. Especially after just seeing the advert :(
 
1 question:

Now I'm playing with SURVIVOR....do i need SURVIVOR + to carry all upgraded Joel to resume upgrading him or can i choose GROUNDED?
 
MP is borked :(

Edit - Whole game is borked (for me), stuck on loading SP and MP, system restarts do not help, awesome.

Has anyone else had an odd issue with crafting? I find when I get down to one item left it won't let me craft something despite having the item there to do it! I've also found it seems to let me pickup certain items despite having them maxed out. I don't remember having these issues on the ps3?
 
Ok im now officially boned in my current progress, ive got to the following part of the game and stuck.

After Joel and Ellie get separated after he falls down the elevator shaft. Im pretty sure i know what i need to do, start the generator then up to the key card door, problem is ive got very very low ammo left and the amount of clickers and that big spore git are just totally owning me.

Ive tried rushing to the door, tried using a molotov on the big dude, tried taking out the clickers.

Ive probably about 6 arrows, 4 rounds in the hunting rifle, 1 in shotgun, 4 in revolver and a molotov.

Do i just suck> quite possibly :p playin on hard difficulty

The bloater should go down fairly easily after a Molotov hit... obviously with the clickers you are limited in what you can do. I'd say just keep trying :p
 
After playing some MP again tonight I quite like it. I enjoy the slower pace. I don't like that there's armour in it as I hate armour in MP.

make sure you get the key card before turning on the generator, helps a lot :D. On survivor I used the rush method took a couple of goes but then I realised you have to try the door first before tying the keypad:p. if the bloator is in the way run down and then up the other ramp to the 1st floor and he should be out the way, I've killed him in getting through this bit yet

+ NEW GAME+ GLITCH QUESTION!!!

I'm playing it SURVIVOR now. Finsh the game, collect as much i can blabla.
Start New game plus (same as you started with?) on GROUNDED...Finish 1st chaperr, save the game (on new save file?) after 20 years, quit to main menu? Select chapter with grounded and re-do 1st chapter again?
Then I'm on GROUNDED+?
