The Last Of Us

Our postman is not predictable at all so there's no way of knowing when mine will show up and I hate it! Sometimes he delivers at 10am and sometimes he delivers after I head out for work at 4pm.

It will be the slowest shift ever if that happens :(
 
Haha - the SE bag thing has a little sticker that says 'Sponge Clean Only'. Slightly worried what they expect me to do with it.

Yeah every time I try and save manually I get "Auto-saving in progress please wait" or something, think it's a bug. It seems to be auto-saving very frequently.

I also somehow managed to die (and get an ally death) very early in the game, before even getting a gun or seeing an enemy. Jumped down a short ledge (definitely where I was supposed to go), screen went black and reloaded the last checkpoint. :confused:

The opening sequence, talk about gut wrenching :( :(

Amazon Prime deliver from 7am to 9pm :p.

A recent parcel turned up at 2pm via private courier, they need to do what Overclockers do and give you a more accurate time frame.

Fingers crossed you guys still get your orders, it's only half ten :cool:.

I think, I'll probably cave in and get this when I nip out in a bit.

When i save it seems to auto-save like 4 times then allows me to save after that properly. Bit odd but it does let me save after i wait a few mins :D

No... OMG postman returned, knocked on the door and its here.. My joel edition has arrived. He missed me out lol and came back.

Normally when they do that they take it back to the depot. Phew that was lucky.

box is ok ish could have been packaged better but it is here. Can't wait to play this.

Anyone else get hideously long loading times when starting a new game (i'm talking 10 mins+), and also when:

the transition between controlling Joel and the cutscene at the end of the intro? (2-3 mins) Kinda spoiled the immersion for me a little :(
Also had a few texture glitches in some places? - Wonder if I should have restarted the PS3 before playing it (Had to quickly finish Metro Last Light before starting TLOU or I would never have gotten round to it :p)
 
Amazon always let me down, so shops it was and there were plenty in :) grainger games also threw in the sights and sounds dlc free on the receipt :)
