The Last Of Us

I wouldn't mind Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 being redone whilst they're at it, either. But I guess they're too old and will be Gaikai'd instead.
 
Just read an article on Appy Gamer.

A Spanish online retailer Xtralife.es has put up a listing for "The Last of Us: Complete Edition" for the PS4, which includes a satchel, for €64.95. Launch date of June 19th.

Nah, they wouldn't announce it at e3. Too late. E3 is 10-12th of June. But it'll most likely get announced soon, then first viewing at e3?

I'd like to see it with a few, Not all the games just the stand out ones. God of War 3, Last of Us.

The games I want to play on PS4 basically, without needing to keep going back to the PS3.
 
Nevermind about existing ps3 or past ps3 owners last of us was without doubt the best game of last gen. releasing on ps4 taps into the large number of consumers that moved to ps4 from the Xbox platform.... This if true is good news, regardless of it being a PS3 exclusive...

New ps4 owners that haven't played this game are in for a great treat ...
 
But what are they doing to do with a PS4 version? Put it in high res at 1080p yes but the graphics looked pretty amazing to me on PS3. As they are like a cartoon style, I can't see how they can much improve them.
 
They will just add some AA a few wavy trees and charge £50 for the privelage...

Personally I would rather they worked on new projects over these quick quid re hashes. The Last of us was one of the best games on PS3 there was no high res PC version to port over so no idea how they will work it other than the above tbh...

Sort of. The graphics were only good as a ps3 game. For the ps3 i thought they were good, but if it was for the pc it would be classed as horrendous. Their was more jaggy edges than a cliff face. Now you dont need good graphics to make a good game, but i think people made it out to be amazing graphics and i was left pretty underwhelmed. A graphics upgrade would be amazing!
 
It was not just the graphics it was the detail that went with it. All the animations and interactions with the environment really made it special for me. Rockstar and Naughtydog seem to be the class leaders in this field and I cannot wait to see what they bring to the new consoles.

Seeing the GPU requirements for the crap ported on PC I would hate to think what would be needed to run something like The last of us or Uncharted. For me these games are a marvel of coding how they run on the PS3 and its rather lacking GPU compared to modern GPU's now...
