I've found the tunic, which provides some dim light, is it brighter with the full set?Used a guide and found the complete set of miners armour so having a better time in the depths.
Yeah with all three it’s quite bright around you. I found the tunic on my own but then decided to use a guide for the other two pieces.I've found the tunic, which provides some dim light, is it brighter with the full set?
Haha don’t worry it’s the kind of game you just do whatever. I’ve lost tons of hours doing what I don’t need to do. It’s a great sandbox do go with whatever.I can't believe I spent 3 hours walking around the initial Great Sky Island tutorial area without realising you MUST visit the first way point. I literally went clockwise all the way around until I could go no further. It wasn't easy without any abilities! Oh God.
Ah crap, now I need to find them koroks.
How to get the Dark Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
A sweet reference to the shadow-clad opponent from past Zelda gameswww.polygon.com
Btw Duplication glitch has been patched out in the new 1.1.2 update so either don't update and disable auto updates or duplicate everything now and update.
Yes I know, just posted that so others know about the dark tunic. Saying that, I couldn't find that statue to trade with.Poes aren't koroks, before you waste your time collecting koroks
It’s behind Robbie and to the right of Josha in the corner. I had to look up where it was as I couldn’t find it either.Yes I know, just posted that so others know about the dark tunic. Saying that, I couldn't find that statue to trade with.
I agree. Rather than forcing players to spend dozens of hours farming materials to afford armour & upgrades, it would be more rewarding, in my opinion, to receive those items for finishing quests and puzzles. BotW had similar issues, but Ninty have doubled down on this flaw unfortunately. Game's great otherwise !As much as I love the game, I am missing the old days of opening big chests and getting a mega upgrade. Was same with BOTW. They've frontloaded it here with the ultra hand. Opening a hard to reach chest and getting 10 arrows is a bit of a let down.
Finds like that are a rarity, though. Most treasure chests contain trivial rewards eg. 5 arrows, an opal, a topaz, a zonaite power cell. As a consequence, TotK ( and BotW ) often feels like a survival game where the player is having to scrape by using each item with careful consideration. I'm not sure that's what most traditional Zelda fans want - see the Nintendo and TotK sub-reddits for proof of that.I’ve found a fair few pieces of armour in chests whilst exploring. Found the knights leggings this morning.
Not at all.Do you need to farm to complete the game ?
