This is the reason I couldn't be a police officer. You need to be able to separate emotions from the job. If I'd been a first responder and saw these injuries on the kid, I'm not sure how I'd react to the parents.

Judges should be able to sentence people to sterilisation for crimes like this. That and cutting their noses off, to warn people that they are scum.

The world is broken. This sort of thing will never stop. Just enjoy the rage. Make sure to keep marginalising poor and disadvantaged people so they keep ending up at the fringes of society with no way of coping and you can have more stories like this to enjoy and rage about.
