Well it's just a few more days until MacWorld 2008 and loads of rumours are kicking around including a ultra portable MacBook, iPhone v2 and many software related rumours including iPhone/iPod Touch 1.1.3 firmware, iTunes 7.6 and OS X 10.5.2.


Use this thread to discuss any releases/current thoughts on rumours.

Yea, upgrade of the macbook pro's chip to 45nm and a replacement for the mini/ultra portable laptop

You ordered it or has it come already? - might be worth canceling your order until its past macworld expo otherwise

I think the fact that the Mac Pro updates were sneaked in without much of a fanfare means that Macworld could be full of suprises!

At least I hope so!

Probably a bit too early to see the next revision of the iPhone - certainly in the UK - but I think the rumour with the most substance is an sub-notebook or dockable mac...

They don't video stream it anymore, only live text updates.

They always release a video afterwards though.

The video is usually up at apple.com/quicktime 4-5 hours after the event then it's usually posted in iTunes 24hrs later.

I've always preferred to do it live, but I may visit MacRumors/Engadget 30 minutes behind the event, just so I'm not reading every little text excerpt 50 times and gnawing on my nails! lol
