And why do you continually ignore....

1- That Moyes called RVP a squad player as soon as he took over and made it clear that Rooney was his main striker going into the season. Why was this if we were such a one man team?

2- That we are not talking about Moyes failing to win the title in 2014. We are talking about him taking the club to 7th place and losing to the likes of Sunderland and WBA.

In his current form I think he gets far more from playing and scoring that he would from a rest. Its still only September and a couple of the games haven't been too strenuous.

He's played 90 mins in every premier league game, 2 champions league fixtures and also played for Belgium twice.

Only 3 strikers in the EPL have played as many minutes as him in the EPL.

So? Does he look like he's tired? We probably would have taken him off last on wednesday but for Martial's injury.

Lukaku seems a pretty fit guy and he doesn't seem to cover as much ground as other strikers so he should be fine playing every league and europe game for a while.

There's an element of protecting your best players and keeping them popping fresh.

Even at 3-0 he would give him the full 90 mins on saturday
