The Manchester United Club Thread **Sponsored by Comedy Central**

I don't know that Elliott group would get involved for fear that the fanbase would basically riot. If the Glazers stayed and stuck more debt on the club there certainly would be.
the riots would be astronomical their position is untenable the obvious choice is to sell especially with no super league on the horizon. The fact that they brought Man Utd with a leverage buy out and this was accepted at the time is ridiculous.

As you can see in wider society, people will put up with a lot of crap as long as their basic needs are met. When they took over we were riding high and did for a few years. Its the decline since then that has really hit home with how poor they have been for the club. The funny thing is that they would be absolutely fine right now if they just ran the club well. We have spent huge money comparable to even the likes of City. The biggest issue with the Glazers is that they had no ******* idea how to run a successful football club.

They are still going to make huge money when they sell the club which hurts but man they made an absolute mess out of United despite everything being stacked in their favour.

Exactly this is what annoys me as a United fan we missed out on gems that and the mish mash of Manager Styles cost us big time. I think we have a gem in Ten Hag though so glad we have him ahead of the media driven Pochetino we would be lucky to be in the top four battle with if he was appointed.

For me its straightforward the Qataris will get it in the end United are in the top 5 clubs in the world and we should be competing for titles and cups year in year out the last 10 years owners/ceos have been unacceptable at all levels.

Just looking at our run in and its pretty good after today.

The only 3 games we have against "big teams" are Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham and I'm not worried about any of them in particular. If we can win today and not get too many injuries or burn out, we could push for 2nd. Will need a little luck but its possible.

Man City have:
Liverpool
Leicester - who knows what Leicester team will turn up
Arsenal
Chelsea

Arsenal have:
Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea
Newcastle

Poor old Chelsea have a bit of a poor run in

Leicester
United
Newcastle
City
Arsenal
Liverpool

They really could end the season completely mid-table without any European football :p

I’m looking forward to watching Arsenal
play themselves, in particular. ;)

I’ve got a feeling we’ll play well against the big teams but there’ll be a slip up against Fulham or similar.

If we can win today I think we are nailed on for top 4 barring a bizarre collapse.

bad result for united (utd fan) didn't expect us to concede so early in the second half we never got going and once the 3rd went in it was never in doubt for Liverpool. The players need to take responsibility in the manner of the defeat which the Liverpool fans will remind us.

The run of games have caught us out and was probably coming after the West Ham game and Leicester.

Overall we just have to move on and onto the next game. As mentioned above we have pretty much played the big teams and we are still ahead of Liverpool who have Chelsea away and City away in the next 3 games so as long as we can bounce back next weekend vs Southampton and get the confidence back we need to finish in the Top Four and take it from there.

A big point which no one really considers. We have played Arsenal, City and Liverpool twice.

City still to play Liverpool and Arsenal. Liverpool and Arsenal the same. Cities are both at home and Arsenals are all away.

Really poor result and it shows that the team still have that ability to completely fall apart. But, I’m not too bothered, as long as it stays as a one off, ETH has only been at the helm for a short while.

Figured this would be best place to ask, thinking about taking my brother in law to the Man U V Brentford night game. Coming from Yorkshire via car where is the best place to park?

You could park at the Trafford Centre, Parkway Park & Ride (A5081) or Ladywell Park & Ride, just off the M602 (J2). All of which are served by the tram

I think we are playing too many games and its showing now with the teams tempo not as high as it was a few weeks ago. The international break may be a blessing in disguise. the less said on the decision on Casemiro the better but we will miss him others will need to step up.

More than several weeks I would have thought. Missing a potential international debut because he was called up to the Argentina team.

Wasn't a reckless challenge though clearly.

There wasn't anything wrong with the Garnacho challenge. Just bad luck really. It happens.

You're not allowed to come in here with comments like that. He was clearly out for Garnacho and probably attacked him with a baseball bat in the carpark after!

We have at least 3-4 legitimate gripes from this game but the tackle on Garnacho isn't one of them.
