It doesn’t need to be the last, but it does need a new direction. Hopefully to tie in with the Ahsoka series and thrawn.

I think so. It seems to be an obvious loose end and ties in well with the deal Din made in the final scenes. They also put a lot of money into that set so it makes sense it will be used again!

They use projection backgrounds and ceiling for Mando with a small set in the middle. It’s quick and easy for them to film.
 
The action was pretty good, especially the finale.

The writing...it has always felt like they just wrote down a bunch of plot points and the show just rushes through them without really fleshing anything out. The pacing is off, there is no meat to any of it. It feels like Season 8 of Game of Thrones in that sense. It doesn't help that the last Star Wars thing I watched before this was Andor because having seen that, I know that Star Wars stuff can be done better.

The amount of times someone showed up out of nowhere to save the day, the main character being sidelined in his own show, it was all there. It can do better. Overall it was not terrible.

Temuera Morrison, who played Boba Fett, said during his Q&A panel at the SUPANOVA Comic Con & Gaming convention in Melbourne that he really wasn't happy with Mando season 3 as he was told to expect a Cameo which never came,

I was supposed to be in The Mandalorian season 3 but nobody rang me, I was waiting for the phone call in New Zealand, waiting and wanting to give up

and that he really didn't like Mando dropping into his show and taking over for so many episodes, saying that -

And the way he turned up in my Book of Boba, he just destroyed everybody. I’m sure this guy is...ah...ruining my show.

He also doesn't think that there will be a BoBF season 2 due to Disney's cost cutting and maybe he's decided that, with less chance of a show to be cancelled from, now is the ideal time to speak out about his treatment by Disney which definitely makes them look pretty poor with their people management.

Died after series 1 for me . Maybe I’m too old but it seems Saturday morning pictures for me . Or nothing Star Wars now lives upto (Rogue One )what a film !

Or I can’t get my head around the fact that Bo-Katan is in fact Kara Thrace ! God i fancied the arse off of Strabuck .

Maybe it was because the Book of Boba Fett was absolutely ****?

It wasn't "his" show. He was an actor playing a part. He didn't create it, he didn't write it. He didn't even play the original Boba Fett.

I do enjoy watching The Mandalorian however i do think it has dropped a load of its "pazazz" it had in the first couple of seasons. I am holding big hopes of the Ahsoka series though as one thing they REALLY have gotten right in the Star Wars shows is the casting. I was REALLY happy to see Katee Sackhoff play a real life Bo-Katan, I was really happy to see some of the casting for the Ahsoka series as well.

Oh and Rogue One is also one of the best Star Wars movies ever made. Probably ties with Empire Strikes Back in the top spot.

Talking of Katee Sackhoff, i do think she is was a bit too masculine in BSG and some of the press pics of her make her look like the joker but she does seem to be a really genuine, down to earth actress. I have seen some of the IRL videos she has done on youtube with Tricia Helfer (Still looks stunning IMO)...

So winding back to one of the earlier S3 episodes, there was a scene where grogu and Mando were travelling through hyperspace, and M was sleeping ... and G was looking over to the side where it looked like there were things travelling along beside them, but the other side of the hyperspace tunnel wall.

Is that something that has been explained anywhere ( like in another franchise series) ?

They were in Rebels i think. Hyperspace whales or something.

Although supported in the original movies such as the exogorth in TESB I've never been a fan of those large space resident animals in the later movies and shows, etc. it just changes the tone to something which doesn't really fit Star Wars well while not really adding anything.
 
I enjoyed the last two episodes, especially the last one.

Some of the episodes this season were very dodge. It ended on a high though.

They really nailed the spaceship effects. All the big ships like that cruiser looked awesome in motion.
