I'm not sure what Disney are thinking. This has two characters, part of the main cast, that anyone who hasn't got Disney+ and hasn't watched Wandavision from start to finish (and it was an easy show to stop watching early) and watched Ms. Marvel, won't have a clue about. It has potential BOMB written all over it.I wonder if this will bomb harder than Blue Waffles, I mean Beetle.

True, there's no way this is going to make a billion the way MCU movies have been performing.Wasn’t Captain Marvel released directly before Endgame and her character teased in Infinity War. You couldn’t get a more favourable launch condition and we hadn’t seen how unlikable the character was at that point either. The situation for this release is a lot less favourable.
Yup. I literally watched Cpt Marvel because I thought it would be essential viewing as part of the build-up to Endgame. I was far from the only one, I suspect. Hence a mediocre film made a billion dollars in the expectation of the need to see it to get the best from a truly good movie that came out straight after.Wasn’t Captain Marvel released directly before Endgame and her character teased in Infinity War.
