Usually I listen to the likes of Sodom, Destruction, Kreator and Slayer. I've tried Tankard but can't get into them.

Im sure you've checked out the usual suspects like Testament and Exodus. Maybe check out D.R.I, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Sacred Reich. If you dont mind heavy thrash then, Strapping Young Lad, Dark Angel, Death.

It's operatic and dramatic but it seems it be quite monotonic for each song. Perhaps less people writing on the songs??
