The Moon looks massive!

The moon down my end (South east UK) looks absolutely huge in the sky, for the first time I was able to get a picture of it on my iPhone without it looking like a white pixel.

Super luminous too!

Makes me want to get a telescope.

Also pretty much directly south there is a pretty bright object in the sky, Could be Venus or Jupiter can anyone confirm that?

The object to the South would have been Venus, very bright

It's time. Don that tin foil hat, or be abducted and probed till you know nothing else...

But yeah, it seems quite big. Was referred to as the 'super moon' phase a bit ago as it was at it's closest for quite a while, but even then the size doesn't change too much. Maybe you just don't notice it as often?
