£900ish on my Bass - Musicman Stingray (I say ish because I'm not sure of the exact amount, I imported from the states)

I think it's pretty interesting that I can only think of 2 times I've spent over £500 on a single item, one's been a guitar, the other was my flat.

i think you should not inc cars houses holidays. Obviously the most expensive things you are probably going to buy... Excluding those ..hmmm.

In a single transaction, my first PC i built was about £1500 and i payed in cash.
at one of them crappy tottenham court road PC fairs.
