when i had the board it was reporting 53C idle and that was with water cooling - i wouldnt worry about the temps, my temps were the same from stock speed up to 2.6ghz

you have to remove the bit at the back of the board, its tough as nails though, so you might need to use a hairdryer on it, should slide off then (did with mine 
)
