You need a digitiser on top of the LCD I think, the point is its near enough unbreakable, its the screen from the new LG G Flex.

Will (so they claim) be able to survive being sat on or dropped!!

I remain skeptical until I see a few dropped and sat on in real life, rather than in a test lab!

That's brilliant in that it shows what phones of the future will be like. Bendy, indestructible (within reason) and ultra-thin.

There is such a thing as too thin when it comes to phones IMO. Without it's case, even my SGII is too thin for my large hands and just feels awkward and constantly on the verge of slipping.
Definitely wouldn't want something that's basically like a piece of paper no matter how cool it looked.

The screens have been unbreakable for a while, this is nothing new.
When phones are dropped it's the digitiser and / or glass on top the cracks.
