The New Cases Gallery

Awesome build!

Is it? Thanks! I thought it was pretty plain. :D

Not particularly exciting componenets (E6400/4GB RAM/880GTX), but it does me fine nonetheless. :)

What are the benefits of bungeeing then? I've always wondered this

Like Dup says, it basically eliminates vibration, leading to a much quiter case.

I didn't have problems with access noise though, it was more my when my two WD drives were on, just the idle vibration from them both caused the whole case to resonate. One on its own was fine though. :/

Ah that makes sense then. I'm guessing you can only do this in certain cases where there is a free space (like the one above).

Most people suspend them in the 5 1/4" bays, but with 4 HDDs I don't have the space, so I removed the drive cages (old pic here) and just threaded the elastic through the screw holes. :)

Very clever! I might look into it, probably get a new case first! Currently have a Wizard Wi20a which is pretty poop for cable management 'n stuff. And I don't have a dremel so I cant attack it! I do have an angle grinder though....

Hello everyone, I'm new here, although have been keeping an eye on the posts on a daily basis, some brilliant looking case mods :)

Silverstone Strider 850W PSU
Antec 900 (Soon to be upgraded to a Silverstone Fortress, Coolermaster HAF or Lian-LI P60)

Sorry about the rubbish pics, I ain't a photographer =]

Any help would be appreciated on choosing the new case, as you can see in the pictures the cable management isn't great, but the 900 is just plain rubbish unless modded.

Quick i7 build I did this afternoon for a housemate. Great rig, super fast and managed to keep it tidy inside.

Excuse the crap pics, phone camera and low light for the lose.

Coolermaster 690 Dominator. Nice case to work with, had some problems with the mobo stand offs though. They seemed the wrong threading for the case, and wouldnt grip the tray properly, or when being screwed into would jsust free spin! Pain in the ass.

okay not the most neatest PC you ever seen but I can't help it my power supply has wayyyyy too many cables
specs

Do rebuilds count? :)

From P35 to P45, black mobo to blue mobo, looks nicer IMO :D
