The New Cases Gallery

Nice work Helios 1234, But there's something about the fans that's not quite right.

Is it just me, or does the pink plastic used look exactly like the stuff they use to make prosthetic limbs????

Awsome case mrluke, bit of work to do on the cabling though. Also, is the CPU cooler (zalman I think) meant to be mounted so that the fan blows out through the rear?

only reason I ask is cos I had hells own job mounting mine, that was until I read the instructions (real men don't read instructions). I was trying to mount it in the right orientation, i.e. with the flow of air going over it and out the rear case fan, but could just not get it to fit. I tried it your way round and thought "voila" job done, but somehow knew it wasn't right. Turns out I had it correct orientation the first time, but needed turning 180 degrees so as to fit, otherwise the securing brace would not close down.

If you look just bellow my fan , theres a motherboard fan cooling a chip.. This some how stops me clipping it the other way IRC..

What are the benefits of bungeeing then? I've always wondered this

They create vibration through the chassis when they are secured to it in the usual fashion, thus causing a resonating noise when they are being accessed. The bungees take out the vibration energy aiding the computer to be much quieter.
