The New Cases Gallery

I got the Raven RV02 the other day too :D

Awesome case indeed.

I have to agree its so easy to work with and with all the cables running behind the motherboard try the side panel still fits with such ease compared to my old CM690.

Its really quiet and my temps have dropped to 30 idle. Trying to sort some pics out but the camera on the nokia 6700 is about as usefull as a pint of stale ale laced with nam pla fish sauce!

With the cables running through the top I thought I may encounter problems with the DVI to HDMI dongle but its all fine, I did find that putting the fan below the HDD cage on low and the other 2 on high that it queitens down with the one on low. Maybe because its pretty much touching the fan with the HDD cage?

mrk, the quality of those pics are amazing, makes that case look all the better.

thanks pal;)

i found for the price its a great case, its well built comes with 2 x 120mm fans and can add 4 more, very easy to install your parts and good for routing your cables!

also very quiet and runs cool :D

Some really nice cases here. I've just built an i7 machine and I love it so far. I bought all good quality components and im really impressed with it. So far its totally stock, no overclocking at the moment but will be having a play in the following weeks.

The case is a Lian Li - PC60FW. :)

Shilz how dare you steal my cable management style with Akasa ties!!!!

I demand an compensation :p

Also, our cases look the same inside (PC-&FWb here), didn't know the Corsair cpu cooler was available without the Corsair case! Might get one to copy you as revenge :p In fact the ONLY difference I can spot between our cases is that your front fascia panel is different...which makes me wonder, could I get a fascia panel with a door or different front style? are Lian-Li fascias all using the same fitment for the respective form factors?

Hi mrk, :) I must admit I did indeed steal your cable management style with Akasa ties! :p. They look so much better than standard plastic cable ties... they just look smarter.

The Corsair H50 does indeed fit most cases with a 120mm rear fan fitting. The fitting and airflow is great in these cases but I had to fit the one fan on the outside. The external fan is optional though, the standard Corsair fitment is with one fan so I just put the standard Lian Li fan to good use. This way of fitting allows more space inside the case.

The front fascia I believe are all the same in this form factor and I would assume the fitting would be identical. Take a look a the PC-B10 - http://www.lian-li.com.tw/v2/en/pro...ex=314&cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=62&g=d

If they did fit im not sure how you would get hold of one? They only seem to sell the side panels and not the front fascias.

Why do some many people want to have the inside of their case black?

I have an Antec 902 which is black (inside), but I don't think it particularly does anything extra for it...

Maybe some people like to match the black pcb of the mobo to black insides to make it look better. Most other components are black as welll. I personally love the look of the shiny aluminum. :p

I don't like cases that you can look into, showing colours that are totally mismatched. It's why you have to be careful what you put in there, or if you want a window, at that :P

How's the PC-7F working out for you mrk? I'm just trying to decide between one of those and a Coolermaster CM-690 myself for the i5 build I'm considering. The old school Antec P180 I have is too big and lacks proper cable management, so it's a mess in there at present...
