The New Cases Gallery

Thanks for the tip. The finish is actually pretty reflective when an object is close up. I might do a bit more polishing though.

Is the build quality the same? :)

I did a build in one for a friend a few weeks ago. This chassis is based around my own Lian Li (PC-P50) and the internals are the same. Only difference is the front/top are plastic. The front bay covers are a little cheap feeling but apart from that it is high quality.

some realy cool builds here, it actualy made me clean up my new pc too :D tidy way all my wires and actualy was surpised it helped with cooling :D no camera so cant post any pics :(

My HAF922 after the addition of a new cooler and fans :). Tidied up the cables a little more as well.

Also wondered what it would be like with a window so I ordered one and I do quite like it myself.

Now to get around to spraypainting the interior black.

It actually looks quite nice in a darker room, but I used a flash to take the photos so you can't see that unfortunately.

as most of the machines on here seem to be high end i thought i'd post this budget machine that i just put together for a friend :)

spec- coolermaster elite 330 case
athlon II x4 620
Gigabyte GA-MA78LM-S2 motherboard
crucial 4gb ddr2-800 ram
coolermaster extreme power 460w (came with the case)
samsung spinpoint f3 500gb
win 7 home premium 64 bit
sony dvd rw

shows i do build neat pc's lol, which some of you would not believe if you have seen the pics of my own rig on here :D

for a budget case i actually quite like this coolermaster elite 330

why do they always put the front panel audio connector in the most stupid of places ? :( surely it should be on the edge near the usb connectors

As for connectors, work round them./ I guess they had a plan when they made them.

Do you get a lot of vibration from your hard drives, or are the mounts good? Did you screw the HDDs in?

They aren't screwed in, just mounted on the fittings provided.

I haven't heard any noticable vibration from them, though my OS is running on an SSD (which is in the top hard drive slot held in place with gaffer tape on the underside).

Removed the watercooling, emptied my TJ07, and stuck everything back in my old Gigabyte case. Cabling is a bit gash but otherwise I'm happy with it.

I just updated my thermal paste on my CPU and GFX cards to Arctic MX3, and found and fitted a Zalman fan bracket I had lying around from ages ago (sorry for the rubbish quality pictures and extra messy cables):

I have 2 of the Antec 3 speed fans that came with case for the intake at highest speed, then 5 coolermaster blue fans around the CPU and graphics cards.

I dont think I can get my PC cooled any better then this on air unless I use louder fans. All of these fans I have are very quiet, theres just a slightly louder hum with the extra antec fans set to high, but I can turn them down at anytime.
