You see the idea tho, The fan sensor should go to the hottest part of the case, So they run full speed, Your idea, to add more flow.
Wait. No, sellotape will go a yellow colour! Ive had enough of yellow stuff.

Clear tape needed. Any ideas?

??? What kinda sellotape are you using? Mine has been the same for 6 months+ no yellow discolouration.

Mine are linked to a fan controller so they don't use the PWM function.
How are you plugging yours in?

Sorry mate , joking , Sellotape always go's yellow in the end.

My 3 ( fans) all have a heat sensor, (that i have stuck to my hd's).

My other 7 are on a fan controller, the other 3 i have on a switch,

The others are psu's.

Brasso is good, however you should really try some Autosol metal Polish about 4quid from motor/auto parts shop.

Dab a bit of Autosol onto it... Leave it for about 5 mins then buff the crap out of it. You'll end up with a quality finish. I would say better than that in your photo, almost mirror like if you perfect it or keep repeating the process lol. I do this on my car exhuast tip, comes out top.
