My almost entirely new system for the next few years. I built it in a short time as I had a throbbing headache! I still want to go back and make the cabling a little neater, as well as adding a new GPU and sorting the whining and scuffing noises of the two large fans in the 650D. Great case, poor fans. Disappointing at that price. I'd welcome any feedback about what would improve this machine. I'm thinking about lighting perhaps, or maybe LED fans.

I will have better quality pics once it's fully sorted. Spec below.

Year long Build almost done

It all started out with a Hazro monitor back in March & to my dismay found that my old duel core system really struggled.

So began my year long build.

Started with new mobo I7 2600k chip and 8 gig memory 7 2x 500gig drives in raid 0.

Had a sale on at OC so got another 8 Gig.

Along comes BF3 in goes a Radeon 6970

SSD dive in November a nice little Crucial RealSSD M4 128G..

My dear wife then gets me a corsair 600t graphite case.

All that's left is to water cool and im done

Thanks for looking and any tips on improving.

Alex, could you do me a favour please and measure the distance from the top of your motherboard to the grill at the top of the case? I'm looking for a case that I can top mount my 3 x 120mm radiator and fans. This looks like it might just fit.

Crap quality picture cover your eyes(not iphone)

I was going to do a project log but then i forgot to take any pictures. Basically iv'e just crammed a load of stuff into this tiny case, it was originally going to include 6850 xfire but it ran to hot.

8Gb Corsair vengeance

X-Fi extreme gamer
Samsung F3 1tb

That! Fits 3.25" and 2.5" SATA hard drives.

From top of the motherboard to the top grill I measured 68mm.

Thanks Alex, that gives me 8mm clearance. Would a radiator 380mm long fit in the top without fouling anything? My guess is it would foul the HDD dock?

you can see on the mounting screws for psu I was talking about and how my cable managment looks like, there is one think I can improve is get extension for the 4 pin MB but thats best I can do for now and will have to get some more cables, I had to run it on bottom as the cable will not reach running behind the MB then back down again, I due MB,CPU upgrade anyway so may have to wait and see but I don't belive that the ATX boards have the 4 PIN plug much higher, also notice that the fron LED's are white where the side 200mm fan has blue-ish LED's.

I do really like that case, it ticks all the boxes for me!

What system are you running in it though, it makes the motherboard look tiny?

it is very tiny I needed PC 2y ago very quickly and got one from PC world, all years before it was self build, this one is only some kind of packardbell motherboard and Q8300 and 4gb DDR2 I know is bit old now but works fine and still be used after I get my upgrade

are they by chance NZXT 3 Pin Fan White Sleeved 30cm Extension Cable and if so how many do you need.

by the looks of things he's just cable braided the standard corsair cables from the fan to the cpu cooler unit. He's done the same with the other cables within the build also.
