Don't get the NXZT branded ones, they're crap quality. Get either BitFenix or the ones on eBay.

So now im confused sre they standard cables that have been braided or standard 3 pin cables that I can plug in?

They are standard cables that have been braided, however if you were to buy pre-braided cables avoid the NZXT ones.

yeah the cables are standard ones's i braided myself, just waiting for my new zalaman 120mm white and black fans to come then i,ll get some better braiding, but the other braiding on the motherboard and the gpu are brought from ebay

Yeah I have the ones from eBay, I think the guy makes them himself. They're pretty good quality, although not quite as good as the BitFenix ones.

The 500R just does it for me.

Its not exactly a very unique looking case but the clean lines really hit the right notes. Cjbagnall is that a fan controller in the front of yours? Can't you get a nicer looking one

Its the NZXT mesh fan controller, I think it looks good and it does the job for me

Silverstone Raven 2:

Added nearly a box of Nikesound's 40x50cm bitumen mats all around and some damping foam too. Added felt to the feet because the case weighs like 25kg and the original rubber pads prohibited pushing the case around the floor

The build is now reasonably quiet, planning to move the mechanical HD's to a server build when my new SSD and parts for the server appear

Temps went down at least 10C compared to Antec P180, and the case is more quiet too (after modding) compared to P180... Also should get longer sata power cables and switch the GPU cooler to Accelero twin turbo or something reasonable like that.

Here's my new case (Silverstone SG01B-F) sitting on top of my old case (Corsair 700D)

Will get some interior pics sorted tomorrow

Specs:

Intel Pentium G840 (Was an I5 2500k but that is currently off for rma)
Scythe Shuriken Rev.B
2x 4gb Corsair Vengeance pc3-12800
Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z
Asus Xonar D2X
Asus Gtx480 (which is doing surprisingly well in a matx build)
OCZ ModXstream 700w
1tb samsung spinpoint hdd

There's also a blu ray drive on my desk that I'm going to attempt to fit in there

Took out my 6gb of reaper ram and replaced it with 12gb of low profile kingston hyperx.

Cabling is still a bit messy round the psu.

One of the pitfalls with sli.

Lol, aluminium. Unfortunately Lian Li only offer bare internals on a lot of their cases. Once i can afford it the interior will be powdercoated.

just a few updated pics of my machine, since last time, i have just installed 16GB of Crucials Ballistix tactical tracer RAM
did a quick tidy up of cables which still needs work but i'm just about to order some braid to cover all the modular cables on the PSU and all random cables.
also i blatently plagurised matan11's work

however my attempt is not quite as polished, only took half an hour to knock that up, but i plan to redo it properly, just wanted to see how it would work, and i have all the dimensions i need to do it properly now.
