The New Cases Gallery

After a good 4 weeks of problems regarding my Phantom 630, a little brother and a jigsaw, I went away and bought a CM Storm Trooper, and have finally got her finished. I just need to put an order in for some acrylic for the psu shroud and the drive bay blanking plate. I have got it mocked up in card for now covered in black sticky back plastic just to get an idea of how it will look. The res is only a temp solution until my Frozen Q tri spiral in black and yellow arrives from the states

Was originally built about 2 years ago, you could chuck something faster together for about £200-250.

Prices might be off a bit but IIRC I paid:

CPU - e3200 £22
Motherboard - Zotac 775 WiFi £70
Case/PSU - £55
RAM - Now 4GB OCZ - £15
GPU - 8800GT - £Free, came from an old system
HDD - 320gb 2.5" £Free, again from an old rig
Modding supplies - £25

Total - £187

I still like my B25F :) Great cooling being an aluminium case. Something soothing about the "blue ring".

If you can still buy them, the "stealth doors" over the optical drive bays look neat :cool:

Thanks buddy - I actually do have the aluminium drive bay door but preferred the look with the bare drive :)

Also if you use those aluminium doors you cannot use the quick release drive bay clips...

I'm currently thinking of getting the inside of mine powder coated as there is a place locally that will do it :)

Any pictures of yours??
 
Got my Cosmos 2 looking a bit better, not finished, still a few jobs to do.

its the h100i yuup with 2 120mm i used the further down slots coz first closest were getting in the way of the cable and ram I didnt use 140s tho not enough room :)
