DeadMan is this watercooling kit the one that comes with the Armor LCS?I just ordered one, what do you think of it?It will be my 1st time installing watercooling,is it easy for me to do it?I also got a Q6600,I hope I will be able to OC it to 3.6 too :p

The kit I went for is the Bigwater 735 kit which is basically what thermaltake put in the LCS cases yes :)

I thought IDE slows PC's down, but now I tried SATA its just the same, allthough SATA does wonders for Case tidy :D.

next to un noticeable really, i don't see much of a difference, and i dont see much of a difference with my raid 0, seems to run exactly the same. and rounded ide cables work almost as well as SATA cables (from a tidy perspective) whats the point in senselessly upgrading :)

Yer, im not upgrading to SATA when i got perfectly good IDE components there. Besides at bringerofdecay said, rounded IDE cables do the trick for me. I find the biggest eye saw is the power connection blocks for the GTX.

My new Lexa :) running nicely.. although the fans dont seem very powerful. Ill get some more pics up soon

I have the red version, bought some led's however they turned out pink! so will be removing asap!

i can also confirm the fans aint very powerful but u will find you load temps have gone dwn?

mine have gone dwn by around 5 - 8 degrees from my modded sonata 2.

Yeah it's a very nice case :D mm but im not too sure about the temps as I never really tested it in with my old full grey (no ventilation) case except with the cover off.. my 8800 gts is idling at 61-63 (no OC) but yeah I suppose the load temps are lower.

This is how my G50 is looking at the moment with some mods -

  • HD bay(s) cut down to allow for better airflow, turned 90 degrees and moved back to make space for a rad.
  • Holes cut for cable routing
  • Blowhole for 120.1 rad cut into the top of the case
  • Holes for fitting fillports cut into the top of the case
  • Window pretty much finished, need some blowhole edging and the perspex though (not pictured).
  • Paxmate fitted, bottom is held on by the HD bay and the PSU mount rather than stuck.
