Yum. Arc Midi?* If there's a filter under the PSU flip it over. Otherwise you'll bring it warm air to the PSU.

*Ah seen the sig.

I have had my psu's this sided up ever since I had cases with the psu mounted at the bottom, because its more eye pleasing to look at, and manufactures make psu's now so you can have them either way up so the writing on the side of them are always the right way up.

Plus its easier to keep them clean too and I dont think it makes much diff if any heatwise in the case.

Anyway each to their own, I prefer to see the psu fan.

Edit: actually I think the psu pulls the air in through the fan and chucks it out of the side where the power socket and switch is. So its acting as another exhaust fan inside your case.

Dear good MOOGLEYS. Please take a black sharpie to those CPU fan cables. the colours rather ruin the look :/

Otherwise nice build :)

hi all

thought i'd share some pics of my build. It is hard to get good ones due to the glass reflecting the light but hope this gives a good idea of what it looks like.

Some homemade extras with the PSU shroud at the bottom to hide the mess but also direct the air intake at the bottom towards the GPU to help cool with cooling.

Stole an idea off someone else and put rubber spacers in where the front glass panel screws to the case. This lifts the glass away by 3-4 mm which means the CPU radiator is drawing cool air through the front.

I think I need another LED strip at the top, but I quite like the dark look. Love to hear your feedback though :)

3 980ti's for a 60hz 1440p? crazy!

Temporary monitor, since I'm waiting on 3440x1440 144Hz monitors to get here :)

Those cards sandwiched like that must be a symphony to the ears.

Not really - depends on how sensitive you are to noise. Working in an open office environment every day with people talking on the phone, I'm quite capable of sorting of noise . Also the 3x GTX 280 reference I had years ago were much louder.

I've just treated myself to a bit of an an upgrade. :D

Not all parts are new but the specs are:

Corsair Carbide 240 Air
i7 6700K
16GB DDR4
EVGA 1080 FTW
Dell S2716DG

I'm still playing with lighting colours etc and wires need tidying (and the rest of the room is a bombsite) but on the whole I'm happy with how it turned out.

Upgraded to a R9 Fury, felt obliged to tidy my case. I moved my SSDs and fan pcb to the back of the motherboard tray. The case isn't the greatest for cable tidying, but it looks much better than before!

Just built this for a friend of mine - excuse the gfx card, he just wants one to replace his ps3 when it dies so I thought my old one would do.

I've left the plastic on the window for him to peel off, so it's kinda ruining the photo a bit.

It's nothing compared to what some of you guys have posted but it's my first attempt at a gaming build look since 2006 so I'm quite happy with how it came out.

It's in the nzxt source 530 case.
