The new facebook. Cack.

To be honest I don't really care, but some of the comments in here are way over the top and we could do without it.

Yeah if some doesn't like the new layout and is having a moan does not give someone the right for personal attacks to be honest.

Can anyone remember what Facebook was like update before last? Or the one before that? Or the one when I went to uni in 2007???

Seems a bit pointless to care if no one can even remember what the "classic" site was like

Not really no. But i cant remember a change that was quite this pointless and annoying. I mean being able to see what every single persons entire activity is? Whyyy?!

Has the "LOL! I'm far too cool to use Facebook and actually have a social life" brigade came along yet?

well, seeing as this topic comes up everytime they change it, superceded by comments such as 'i could use the old one' i'm sure everyone will soon get used to it

1:Complain about facebook
2: Go back to facebook
3: Go to step one.

This is all what happens when people complain about facebook, I don't see how people accept considering the vast amount of social networks and chat protocols on the internet.

Usually I'm not bothered by facebook changes.

Last one was fine, got used to it pretty quickly.

This one however, don't like it one bit.

I agree. Sure the two news feeds right ****ing next to each other was completely and utterly retarded but it didn't change it THAT much. This though is just a complete and utter cluster****.

don't like it don't use it.

Well I and my friends and family have been using it for years, plenty of pictures, videos and the like, so it's not just as simple as dropping it altogether.

Removing the option to view items chronologically is just stupid. Sure, flaunt your new stupid algorithms that you believe shows me what I want to see, but at least let me still view the standard chronological order as well.

Because for people who use facebook just to stay in contact with friends every now and then you cant switch to something else without losing contact with a ton of people. When i and all my friends stopped using myspace it was basically within a 1 month period everyone switched to facebook but i cant see that happening now.

The last change to the sidebar was retarded, but was fixed with a little greasemonkey wizardry to get the old one back.

This is beyond retarded. I liked being able to see what people were saying recently for a couple of minutes before I went and did something else.

Dropped it at the start of this week, feeling much better already!

I must have spent atleast 2 hours a day on the bloody thing. It was/is just wasted time. Every time I feel the 'urge' to see whats happening on faceache I go for a 20 minute run. The feeling goes away.

Thinking about it I couldn't careless whats 'happening' it was just me being lazy and idle.

I have 20 friends and family in SA, my brother is in Hong Kong, and I have a few other friends that are around the world. FB used to offer a simple way to passively keep up to date with the goings on in their lives.

Yes, it's pointless if you live in some tiny hick village, but it's very useful when you have people dotted around the world you want to keep in touch with.
