Caporegime
Lovely glass in here of late
I saw on another forum that one guy had two examples which were soft at 1.4 but sharp at 2.8, he sent them back and his third one was sharper at 1.4 but not as much at 2.8Sharp enough by my eyes but that’s maybe me. It def gets sharper at f2 and f2.8 though
I really like the 24mm, sharp what ever aperture I use, good size / weight etc. So glad I replaced my 24-70gm. I just wasnt sure if I had a bad 85mm but I’ll just make sure I don’t drop below F2.the 24mm at 1.4 was way sharper than the 85mm is at f1.4. The 24mm was the best lens Sony has made ever IMO.
If i did not have the batis 25mm i would have gotten the GM lensthe 24mm at 1.4 was way sharper than the 85mm is at f1.4. The 24mm was the best lens Sony has made ever IMO.
Well the Sony 135mm is amazing esp with the animal eye focus on the A7iii. Can't see me wanting to ever use the 85mm again.

Full frame DSLR = a bit of an upgrade from a Mate 20 Lite
Honestly I would have loved one of the newer models, but for £520 with only a 10k shutter count I think this was the most sensible option. At least unless I get back into it properly.
Did you wait 10 weeks?I grabbed a 400mm F2.8 few days ago..
Can't wait to shoot next season football
