Old news is correct I think. I've been using it for over a year now. Unless they did some sort of gradual rollout?
Yeah just wanted to get a number of a house and was taken back by how swish it was, I really like the app on the iPad so glad they've sort of put it on the desktop version completely now

street view still 5 years out of date here
They're talking about the layout. Not the map data.
Last time I checked paying someone to survey every public road in the world with a silly camera was expensive.
Be realistic.
The main thing that bugs me is street view. I quite often click on the road I want to look at, but the little drop down doesn't show the street view picture so I can't get into street view. I have to click further down the road, then scroll back to that location whilst in street view.
Aha! I didn't see him down there. I withdraw my former complaint!

Nope, looks the same as it has for months for me!
The tube train times are.
They cleaned the UI up a bit, but in typical Google fashion, they removed some stuff. Like now when you have directions, and then go into Street View, the directions (blue line) aren't visible on the road or little map, so you can't actually see the directions at street level.
