Wonder if the Quad core would stuggle with 8 players... I dont think CnC3 is quad core supported anyhow?

Actually, this runs on the SAGE engine ( Strategy Action Game Engine, which itself is a modified W3D engine ) which EA developed for Generals and was modified for the BFME’s. This is just a further modification.
So this is actually built on the generals engine.
But there is talk of the ad-on pack implementing a “World Domination” mode just like BFME’s war of the ring.
While you play the single player campaign you could see the continents tab? Seems unneeded at this stage and is part of the evidence supporting a WD mode.

The safe-disk anti copyright system (which I think is what this is using) has had the ability to search for emulation routines for quite some time. There is a way to hide the daemon tools from safe disk for legitimate reasons but It’s dubious of me to tell you how and would break the forum rules.
That said I am running Daemon tools 4.08 with no such problem without implementing the hiding software. So I suggest you check if you have nero emulation or alcohol 120% emulation or any other drive emulation running that may be causing the problem.

Then re-installed the game and it still gives me the message. What exactly can i do about it, its a joke really. How hard is the GDI mission when you have to defend a low powered base. I cant bloody win!

I can't do that ******* mission either.
I defend the base until the MCV arrives, but it gets stuck in the corner. However it's at this point that they flood you with fanatics. So many fanatics, that there's nothing I can do about it.

MCV comes and by the time I have escorted it back my base is gone and full of enemies with a storm of them chasing me
Learn what type of attacks come from which direction.
From memory the north is mixed tank+infantry so enable the turrets there and get an infantry to "diggin". The east is purely heavey so enable one gun and place the tank and rocket buggy there with some rocket troopers.
south and west is purely infantry so get your infantry to "diggin" and enable a tower at each. Only ever have 1 aa gun powered at a time as that is all you need.

Im on top of it now. once you take out that north base its a hell of a lot easier.. Its not even a big base either.

Yeah that mission is pretty tuf, like mentioned theres a small base north east, taking out that makes everything a lot easier, I just made lots of apc's stuck an engineer in one and stormed the base, captured the hq and sold it, then things settled down after that and no more attacks from the north.
For all the nod infantry you encounter I used lots of apc's with rocket guys inside them, sent a few up to do the escort and they mowed down the nod infantry that came.
