Maybe things are moving faster than I give credit to. I would have thought that 4.4ghz would be enought o power two top end GPUs. If it is sitting at 80%, it sure could be time for an upgrade
Ha, you know I'm playing.
Results are in.

I love using Mantle for benching, enjoyed that. And on that note, time to relax and have a beer.
Gha... you and your bloody inconsistent overclocking, just pick an overclock and stick to it
Fixed.
That's not how it works when you have four cards. The more cards you add in, the further you dial down.
I'm having a great deal of problems with the latest Thief update. It's having these really big stutters every ~5 secs. GPU load only seems to hit about 50% on both cards.
The latest update has borked the game for me.
Check you have not run out of VRAM
if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we made a Beta available on Steam, v1.6 build 4158.14, that can be used to switch back to the previous version
Step 1: Go to your STEAM library and select Thief in your game list
Step 2: right-click on the game and go to properties
Step 3: go to the Betas tab in the properties menu
Step 4: select version_1.6 and press ok.
This will set you back to the original released version of the game.

What's with the such bad perfomance?
Getting this on DX11 with 2 x 290X's at 1200/1650.
Bug you've got my clocks wrong in the leaderboard.

It should be 1230/1625Mhz.
So now your 'AMD' Matt when will you be replacing your CPU to one that's more agreeable to your new job?
I've got two other machines with AMD cpu's, this is my only intel rig. Might be swapping it out for a 5970X though at some point once my wallet recovers from the purchase of 4x290X 8gb cards.
Because not even AMD employees think AMD make decent CPUs?
I have more AMD rigs than Intel rigs, but when you have four cards you need the fastest money can buy and at the enthusiast end that's an Intel cpu. AMD cpu's are very competitive in the mid range market with i5's though and often win if the game is well threaded. I call that decent. APU's are also awesome and i love my Kaveri laptop and would recommend it highly. I also call that decent.
