I bought it as I could afford it and the GTX has been out ages at time and I simply will Step up using EVGA anyhow. :)

surely that means that the 9 series has to come out within 90 days of your purchase? otherwise everyone would be getting EVGA

OH man...so much speculation and testiculation going on in here.

The card will be expensive, and in high demand so remain expensive unless ATI can release a better card before or soon after the 9 series. Will be nice if Nvidia actually get it right this time and implement vram and shaders correctly.

If November I will just not make the 90days, if not I give a customer a deal and give them the card for bit less £ as its not really been used in 5weeks since bought as mobo blew up, then I buy a new card in Nov or another Ultra now and get another 90days, dont bother me either way.

am i right in thinking thre 9800 GTXv wont be the fastest card arent nvidia also launching a dual 8800 gpu card called the gx2? 96 shaders per chip?

i want it!

er that is a bit of an obvious answer.

they will be about equal if last offerings are anything to go by. Not much different to SLI, though i think gx2's perform a little less than 2 actual cards in SLI mode.

Whats this about the Gx2? Will that be around the same price as the G98? if so surely one will be a bit bitter and everyone will just buy that.

Is it 2 cards or just one super card?

No clue only seen the comments about that Selsa / Telsa or whatever its called and its a PRO card like a Quadro, Ive had 5 weeks of PC hell as of a Crosshair mobo so not reading up as much.
