THe old thread was out of hand and so has been retstarted, I gave folks chance to behave but it appears many could not

Read the rules below

1) Treat other posters with respect. Do not belittle their club or use unflattering nicknames for either the poster, their club or anyone associated with the club including players - if you're in any doubt then don't use the phrase or email a moderator prior to use.

2) The SPL thread is only for discussion of footballing matters - you may feel strongly about something your club has done in the past or something another club has done but this is not the thread to discuss it in.

3) Don't bait other fans in an attempt to get them to respond insensibly, that's covered by the general prohibition against trolling - if you do this then you can expect repercussions.

4) These rules are simply an extension to the standard Football Stadium rules here, they still apply so do yourself a favour and make sure you're acquainted with both sets before posting.

5) Try to enjoy yourself and let others do the same. It's unfortunate that the rules need to be spelled out in such a fashion but we don't want to see anyone banned because of a lack of clarity.

THERE WILL BE NO DISCUSSION OR EVEN MENTION OF SECTARIAN ISSUES OR THE BEHAVIOUR OF OTHER FANS WHATSOVER

Celtic and Rangers will be referred to as Celtic and Rangers and nothing else, what some consider acceptable others do not

Punishments will go in stages

1 - Infraction
2 - 7 Day suspension
3 - 14 day suspension
4 - 28 day suspension and removal of Sports Arena access rights

Members who already have history may start at the 7 day suspension level

not in here, if folks want a sensible discussion in SC or maybe even GD then fine, just as long as they behave

this is the sport, criminal acts are not part of sport

the way things have been was stopping decent folks from getting involved

Cheers for starting up a new one, maybe we can see this one out to the end of the season.

Tomorrows games should be interesting as it's Dundee Utd vs Killie so if Killie win then they're within a point of 4th and Hearts take on Motherwell. Hoping home advantage will give us the win. Sunday sees another Rangers vs Celtic and Hibs vs St Mirren.

Hearts will be kicking themselves after losing three goals to draw, though looks like they're safe for third place?

Good result for Dundee Utd as well today Goodwillie getting two to continue to put his off field troubles behind him.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow should be a cracker though hopefully for the right reasons. :)

if lafferty is starting - stick all the money on you have on him being booked or sent off. booked is 100% guaranteed, sending off is a 50/50 with him.

he's just another thug in a shirt like diouf.

its gonna be a tough game, celtic are the better side, but they are away from home, i expect a closely fought fight, samaras should hopefully start.

Starting off at a high tempo, some tough tackles gone in from Celtic.

Celtic have the better players and a much better bench imo, but you never know with these games.

What a game.

Fans are going mental, putting any derby in England to shame.

You've clearly never been to a Steel city battle ;)

I'm enjoying this game, despite it being a typical old firm game, lots of emotion, heart and dirty tackles (do enjoy those :p) and void of any real quality.
