The New Stargate Universe Thread

Dear Lord!!!
As I said, having Lt Boobs in a scene is too distracting and prevents me from taking in what is actually going on in the scene.
I just watched that scene and couldn't tell you what was going on. What I can say is that Lt Boobs was in the scene.

How could you not notice?

The equivalent would be a male character with a 15" manhood, walking around the space ship in a pair of tight swimming trunks. I'm sure most women would find it difficult to not realise the freak show on display.

Hmm didnt think much of the new season in that first episode. Tho i guess they wouldnt show anything decent since its the last ep of the three episode arc from the end of s1.
 
No spoilers thats the rule really and i didnt say anything that spoils the story. So dont get all worked up.

About not legally seeing it, well thats subjective, ocuk rule about shows are a bit weird instead of just saying no spoilers they say dont talk about shows not aired in uk yet. When they know full well most ppl watch em online. Not like it matters to anyone over in the states cos it wasnt live broadcast so they dont lose revenue etc.
 
Rules are rules. You live in the North East of England and therefore most likely watched the show illegally. OcUK do not force you to use their forums. Every time people try and justify it....
 
Indeed, doesnt matter weather or not revenue was lost. What matters is it is 99% likely you got it illegally and therefore cant talk about it here. Theres no point trying to argue the point as it has closed down I think 3 or 4 previous SGU threads for the same reason.

The camera work in that scene is just superb, they really worked hard to get the composition just right :D

Also, bah, I wonder how many new names I'm going to have to learn for this season. I still don't know any from last season bar Eli and Rush!

anyone bought Universe on bluray yet saw it on the high street was tempted until i saw the price

The blonde? What blonde?

When Lt Boobs is on screen, all the other characters go out of focus for me. In fact, I find it difficult to concentrate on any other character, apart from Lt Boobs.

Does anybody know the actual name of Lt. Boobs' character?

3 letter high street store which is a rip off for most things had it for £59 thats why i was shocked

edit just checked on there site and its down to £49.99
 
I think the US syfy version is not as edited as what we see in the UK pre 9pm watershed.

In the last episode of season 1 i watched both versions and the US one was a hell of a lot more violent and showed more punches and shooting, about 10s more material in total.

I don't remember that Lt. boobs scene too, and im quite sure any normal human male would, Must have been edited out tee hee
