The next Labour leader thread

Maybe if Virgin actually were a bit less ambiguous in their use of reserved seats then this need not have happened. They don't need to use the tickets they have the overhead display - that could just clear that allocation from reserved to free 5 mins after the departure from the planned reserved station. It's a stupid ill thought out system they use - most likely to increase the visible presence of the benefits of reserving and therefore locking you into using them.

There is no overhead reservation display on Mk4 stock.

Just to be clear, you believe stopping hundreds of thousands of deaths is justification for causing hundreds of thousands of deaths?

Besides, I'm pretty sure Saddam did what he thought was right at the time.

I think you are looking at matters post event. If this was possible then we would all be lotto millionaires etc. Mr Blair did what he thought was right at the time. You can't possibly predict the outcome of anything especially something like a military incursion.

That's a stupid and rather smug stance if you don't mind me saying. Mind you I'd still say it even if you did.

Well most people I know don't have an issue with it. People sit in the seat if it's vacant. If someone says excuse me this is my seat they then get up. What's difficult to understand?

The story about him wanting to share a seat with his wife nearly had me choking on a cup of tea. What! really, was Abbott not on the train? When you look at politics it frightens me. The U.S. has got Trump and we have got Corbyn  Makes Putin almost look normal. ;)

Seems Labour has not learned any lessons from the Michael Foot era..:p

Labour really need to sort themselves out and be a viable opposition

Corbyn is stuck in the dark ages I'm afraid.

Why do you keep pretending there is no CCTV footage?

Because the fact a conductor on the train at the actual time asked if he wanted to upgrade supercedes and steamrolls over the video! Its exculpatory evidence that you are disregarding because you know you are wrong.

Haha. Clearly you are wilfully ignorant of how members of the PLP and others allied to Corbyn have been behaving towards those who do not tow the line.

Carry on :)

Killing them? Imprisoning them? The only people behaving like brats are the Blairites who have been doing their utmost to oust Corbyn and thus ignore the will of their members. Maybe they should contemplate what party they stand for?

Woa where did the wife come into it? So he couldn't find two seats together and sat on the floor rather than a seat near her. He isn't the first politician to pull a stunt but this is a poor effort.

Sadly we can't - the BBC iPlayer can't handle HTML5 and wants me to us a programme called 'Flash'. I have Googled this and apparently it was a programme popular back in the early days of the Internet but became a huge security risk. :p

Are you taking some mind altering drug? This can be the only rational explanation for your ever more bizarre and irrational postings. There had been clear evidence of bullying and harassment by Corbyn supporters of so called Blairite M.P.s for months and months prior to the uprising.

The video evidence is what it is, evidence of Corbyn's lies. The man's destroyed the Labour party.

Fox you are ignoring that a conductor came and offered a first class upgrade because no seats were available. You'll have to argue it with the conductor rather than me.

My view of the PBC is abysmal at the best of times but this type of thing they should be struck off for as they have with Corbyn utterly failed their charter.

Plus other peeps said the train was packed.

or he offered him a 1st class seat because it was Corbyn and I would guess in if you were a conductor and saw a "VIP" on your train you would offer them an upgrade as well (especially if he is sat on the floor)

I don't understand how it 'steamrolls over the video'.

Are you saying the video is fake? There is video footage of him walking through two coaches of which only one contained reservation tickets nobody bothered to look at, so even if we simply discount that one, there is the unreserved coach.

How can anything trump the video?!

What? No the harassment started with the media sticking everything to Corbyn which by happenstance... Oh look is happening here. The Blairites are trying everything to get rid of him... Even making out he is anti-Semitic, twisting his words and then not having the mental capacity to deduce its meaning.

Corbyn supporters are annoyed because 60% of party members voted him in and now he is anti-democratically trying to be ousted. This man has made Labour the largest ever political party. Its got hearing 4x the next biggest membership and is more than double nearly all other parties (I heard floating around).

They even tried to get a Court injunction banning new members (Corbyn supporters) from being able to vote... And you think Corbyn supporters are the bullies? Who is on a mind altering drug again???

No because its already agreed as fact Corbyn declined then the conductor offered another family sitting there a bump to first class. Thus that accusation is out the window.

Well it depends on principle, if he does not want to shell out or ride first class its his choice... Not yours!

The Virgin Train conductor asked him if he wanted go to First Class "because there were no seats" after Corbyn declined the Conductor went to a family, asked the same because there were no seats.

Unless you are riding that train you wont know however my belief based on facts and the peddling lies of the PBC is he walked past one coach that "may have been" empty to move forward as one often does. Then the next was full/reserved and seats were taken. The Virgin conductor story proves it along with a number of people. You say I ignore the video while offering a rational reason he walked past, but you then ignore pictures, an official account, selfies of other passengers with him, the same train showing people all standing and peoples accounts that it was full all of whom were riding the train.

I know which way the scales of evidence are pulling down on and its my side.

He did not lie... The mere and empirical fact that a conductor came and offered first class upgrades because there were no seats demolishes the PBC pushed bull. Even other passengers (which according to earlier evidence Londoners don't like Corbyn) even they agreed and tweeted there were no seats.

Corbyn boards the train (the 11:00 departure) and is shown in coach H heading towards empty seats at 11:10. Minutes later he's heading down the train to shot his film (as shown in the image where he passes the empty reserved seats; which, as they're currently unclaimed, can now be used by anyone)

Filming finished we now return to coach H at 11:46 and reclaim our seat

He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy! And he got caught.

And, food for thought, where is Mrs Corbyn btw?

Clearly you haven't been to a labour party meeting in the last 12 months. The hatred and vile behaviour of momentum members and others that support Corbyn against anyone who has a different view has been obvious, I have seen it first hand. That is not liberal and it is not democratic.

The unreserved seats belonged to the people who were shortly to arrive by helicopter guys. It's all a conspiracy to make him look bad.

Jeremy doesn't need anyone to make him look bad other than himself and is PR team :p
