****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

Fair play, couldn't get into it myself although this wasn't for want of trying. Happy playing through FE at the moment, sold Majoras Mask, did not get the fuss over that one at all and I like most Zelda games.
Will finish Luigi's Mansion next.

I'm on a push to finish my 80% complete games.

I'm plannng to finish LM2 today (well main campaign anyway, n idea what else is available!).

After that it's Spirit Tracks, but I confess I'm struggling with that one.

Finally Layton & Miracle Mask. then onto something new....

Picked up pokemon omega ruby 2ds today tbh I have had the original 3ds but always turned off 3d and sold it 1 year ago but new pokemon meant I needed another :p reason I chose the 2ds was due to it being transparent like the old gameboy color I had, and I don't regret it for a cheaper model it feels well built very nice to hold and it's smaller than I thought it would be :)

I always think thats' a Zelda one at first glance. I sold the two Zelda ones I bought as it seems they are sold out so managed to make a decent profit and I know I'd get bored of them anyway.

I'm tempted to pick up a couple more but I know I'll pick a favourite and stick to it so I'll just stick with one... Well that's the plan for now anyway

Its a great game, but I personally wouldn't call it a classic Zelda. I think for me what spoiled is the whole "buy/rent special items". The fundamental Zelda formula was a fairly linear game in storyline and items would be acquired in such a linear manner, I think Nintendo were lucky that they didn't alienate *that* fanbase since the game itself was true to its spiritual prequel.

But speaking of atypical.... I don't get Majoras Mask, so far its completely different to every Zelda game I have played!

The whole time travel/loop thing takes a bit of getting used to. Its all about learning where certain characters will be on what day and doing as much as possible each cycle, so you've progressed a little every time you reset the loop.

quick question if i buy a 3ds xl (majoras mask edition) from Amazon france, am i correct in assuming that the game and console settings can be changed to english?

,thxs
