US Preview has said it's gonna be $249

The 3DS will launch for $249.99 on March 27 and come packaged with a 2GB SD card and a charging cradle. There will be two colors available at launch: Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black.

Pre-installed software will include:

Mii Maker
Face Raiders
AR Games
The eShop

Some of the pre-installed software, while technically included on the 3DS, will not be activated until a software update comes post-launch.

The first-party Nintendo games available separately at launch will be:

Pilotwings Resort
Nintendogs + Cats
Steel Diver

No word yet on a launch date for either the Kid Icarus reboot or the Ocarina of Time port.

In all, 30 titles will be available between launch and E3.

The Friend Code system returns, though in a simplified fashion, as there will be only one code per system with instant registration. No longer will individual codes be required for each game, it essentially works like an Xbox Live friend request.

Well US price is $249.

So $249 = £155.86

£155.86 * 1.20 = £187 inc VAT

So expect it to be AT LEAST £200 on launch.

£230? Given how much play my DS has seen, I reckon I'll go for that.

It's a few weeks after my birthday and right before payday, and I've got an old DS Lite that I can sell, so I should be able to stretch to that.
