Stupid mistake, I had an e-mail from sendit saying 10% off and 3.5% quidco, only to cancel my other pre-order and find that they add £2 for delivery, so I just changed back haha.
 
Glad to see it´s still awesome :D

Genuinely can´t wait. It´s one of the few games I´ve been avidly waiting for a rerelease of. I think I´ve probably got or had every version (N64, both GC discs etc) thats been released in the UK bar the Wii store release.

I thought when looking at the trailer before I went away (I´m enjoying a week away from work in Tenerife as I write this), I did think it looked a little nicer than I´d realised; having it explained they reworked a lot of backgrounds and upped the detail does make it more sense.

My brother should have preordered it from Play for me so it´ll be waiting when I get back to the UK :D
 
Thinking about getting one of these, are they worth it?

Or is it worth holding off for the new PSP?

Really want a new toy pretty much.

Same for me, the push was Zelda Ocarina of Time on the 3DS so I just went into HMV and got it and the console :D

Toy + game I reaally really loved as a kid.
 
What with OOT out now I'm temped to grab a 3DS but between the poor battery life and people reporting their screens scratching and Nintendo refusing to RMA the system because say that "screen related problems (scratches and cracks) are not covered under the warranty", it's hard to be convinced to get one, I really hope a revision is announced asap.

Ive had my 3ds for about 2 weeks now , can happily say its a very good battery that you can play for a very long time needing a recharge after 8 odd hours of continuous use inc 3d ,wifi and sound. As for the scratching issue ive no evidence of it yet , maybe it happens if pressure is applied to the unit from the outside but surely a screen protector would prevent the issue ?

dude, no offence but you are noway getting 8 hours battery life on your 3ds, not even near, even if you select the lowest brightness, turn off wi-fi and no 3d your still lucky to get 5 hours.

That's true - i'd say about 4 to 5 hrs on average. Having had one since launch and regularly playing this has yet to be an issue though. Really, who plays a handheld for more than 4-5 hrs a day? The only time this grates is if you forget to charge, which was fixed by getting a docking charger for work as well as home ;)
 
Very tempted I nipped into the local asda and saw it for sale for £197 you can get a ps3 160Gb for £195. Seems to be a little overpriced I want one but I am sure it will drop in price like a stone once the PSVITA is released it just whether I can hold out until then! Knowing my track record I am destined to fail.

If it was that price with the Zelda game or @ £150 I would have grabbed it today defo!

It is a lot I admit, and I know I want a vita....Best start putting some more overtime hours in!!!
 
I know it's easy to do but you shouldn't compare portables with home consoles price wise. Two completely different items.
