Question, I got the MM edition, put in a new blank SD card first thing before I even boot up, I can't seem to see the game... Is that installed in the 4G card that came in?

Download it from the store, it's stored on the built in sd card.

I would imagine its installed on the micro sd card that came with the system.

Best thing to do is setup your Nintendo id using the card that came with the mm edition, it then ties the game to your mm edition, then copy all of the contents over to the new card then put that card into your mm 3ds.

Unless you have got stuff that you need to transfer over from your existing 3ds if you already had one? On that I am stumped sorry.

Copy and paste stock sd card contents onto new card - insert new card - job done.

I've started a game on OOT, where does that saved to?

How do you copy? I don't have something this small that can read micro SD on the Mac. And I don't have any other 3DS to migrate over from either.

If you don't have an adapter, you can sometimes use an Android phone if it has a MicroSD card slot.

Connect it to the Mac to access the card via USB.

If you have a windows PC handy, you can use the wireless transfer option on the 3DS to copy data to and from your PC.

Remember you need to format the new sd card to fat32 if youve not already.

Fat32 the new card and cut and paste (somehow

).

MM will copy straight over - its on the stock sd card but it will copy and paste, no need to redownload.

I found a card reader....copied it straight over...let's see if it works !

Right....how can a console be this complicated at this day and AGE?

More problems

1 - I can't seem to see MM, does it show up on the home screen automatically ?

2 - Wifi doesn't work, it says my access point security settings is not compatible. Please don't tell me it doesn't work with WPA and I need to downgrade it to WEP for it to work ?!

1 - yes, should do, mine did after a simple copy and paste. You will find it in the eshop if it doesn't make an appearance.

It doesn't come up....

and I can't access eShop because i can't get online.

I can't get online because the stupid console uses ancient WEP !!!

My Apple Time Capsule doesn't even offer that because WEP is so easily hacked...

Set it as WPA/WPA2 Personal which is what my airport extreme is set at, my xl works perfectly on that setting.

Delete the wifi connection in the 3ds, switch it off then on & then add the connection again.
See if that fixes it, also have you got parental controls enabled in the 3ds if so switch then off.

Finally !!! not sure why it can't connect to the Apple TC but connected to my BT hub.
