****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

Is there a cheap place to get Ocarina of Time? I can't seem to find it for less than £40. :(

Ouch, I knew it was quite an awkward title to get hold of now but didn't realise the situation was that bad :(
CEX still sell it for £35
There are also quite a few on ebay although it's not cheap there either.

Not sure why 3DS games are so expensive really, they've certainly gone up in the last few years!!

I asked this today in GAME, and he said it's because they do very limited runs of titles such as OoT and other games that are likely to sell well, so then they become hard to get hold of and demand stays high, so places can get away with charging near full price for it a year after release

To be fair it would probably do okay. The original DS was designed to survive 5 foot drops multiple times, any design that failed the test was scrapped. I imagine they'd do the same with the 3DS line too.

Mine has arrived :D.

Quick questions about the transfer via PC. Is it a simple drag a drop from one card to the other or do you have to transfer the licences between the consoles wirelessly as well?

I just sold the zelda case that came with my order for £23 on that famous auction site
So will be defo getting that case for that price, its a bargain!!

Honestly, I've had cases for my iPad, iPhone that costs freakishly expensive which is made a lot worse than this. No problem surviving drops at all. Plus space to hold 3 carts and an extra stylus.

Wow! Didn't know OoT was expensive now! Glad I picked it up for £5 two years ago in a clearance sale and Bravely Default for £14.99 back in October.

Thank you HUKD!! :)

Well the transfer process took a lot longer than it should have. Both systems failing at every opportunity. System update...failed. System Transfer....failed. Connecting to the internet...failed 50% of the time. Massive PITA.

Does everyone else still get a ghosting effect as the screen readjusts itself?

I get it when playing Zelda, I can always see a sort of outline of some items when looking at it so I have to adjust the 3d slider down until the ghost image goes back to where it should be.

Yes, its because for a split second its showing you the view for another angle :)
Not an issue and corrects very quickly.

Good to hear, just wanted to make sure. Have to get used to the smaller 3DS as you seem to have to hold it closer to your face for the sweet spot. The second stick works great though.

That can happen if the n3DS can't tell where your eyes are clearly. Do you wear glasses or have silly hair that might obstruct your eyes?

Both :p.
