It's a Merlot/Cabernet Franc. I had half the bottle the other night, and it wasn't great. Shoved the cork back in and went back to it tonight. It's much better now. Never been a big fan of Merlot wines and this certainly won't change my mind but it's more than drinkable.
Those damn 'discounts' at Supermarkets got me again. It was £5.99, said it was half price. Whilst it's probably worth the price now it certainly isn't a 12 pound bottle of wine.
I know it's marketing, but suckers me in every time!

Back to the Biere Speciale. Just tipped over, and smashed, the wine glass.And got an Aberlour 10 poured.

Can't stand Gin, maybe due to drinking it one night with bitter lemon non stop until I ended up doing something that resembled Bellagio fountains as I lay on my hotel bed .
