I just got back from a beer festival...

I win.

So was your festival good after all that?

Yeah, the people I was with were a bit 'conservative' (read: boring). But aside from that it was a decent evening - good music, and eight or so different tasty halves.

But you came back here! So it can't have been that good. I fully empathise after the one I went to.

Apart from organising an event in Bristol, there's not much hope.

SC and ice or SC ice and lemonade. Both are awesome drinks.

Unless you'e in a bar in Coventry. My brother ordered SC and Coke and was told to **** off.

Starting off with something standard and light - a Kronenberg. Will get onto the better stuff later.

Haha it's not quite the same for me but I know what you mean. Maybe first Friday for a couple of months. It was unexpected but I'm not complaining.

I'm jealous, that's a good one. But yes, you can't go wrong with the Leffe.

Up next, La Trappe Blonde. Never had it before, never heard of it. But it came in a nice bottle.

Well, I just hold of some of this Kronenberg Blanc [by mistake, I might add] and it's not that bad, better than I expected but still a poor attempt at Weissbier. Anyone else had it?

Also, should I be worried about this?!

Kronenberg Blanc is my beer of choice although it can get a bit sickly.

I imagine so if you have many, I'm only having one!
